The Chosen: Christ alive in our time

Date: Jun 21, 2021 It's nothing like the convention we've come to know... The idea is not about history. It's just about edification. It has everything to do with conversion, and little to do with indoctrination, yet, it goes nowhere against the doctrine - not the basic, not the fringes. It's about the Word - the Word diffusing Himself in the modern times, and peoples and language. To understand, no one needs to know the culture as was practised two millennia ago, as the exegetes would have us do - no. It has everywhere in it, the signature of the Divine. Finally, the media has become that boat that leads us to God. The Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the wind that moves it along the direction He Wishes us to go. It's not strictly based on the accounts, as we've come to know them; but there have been fill-ins, to fill the cracks and to then smoothen the surface; thanks to the aids of imagination which in turn is a tool made by the Manus Divinae. In Principio...

...In The Beginning... Those three words, more than just seeming common, give meaning to the concept of time. As finite beings, we live every facet of our physical life in time, and time takes its toll on us. In time we were young and younger, but in that same time, we grow old and older. Once one is born, their time starts counting, and everyone loses on time, but no one ever gains one it. It ticks away our youth, our innocence, our life, etc. and it never stops to wait for weary minds and tired feet. We are dragged along in time, sometimes in the mud of pains and penury, lack and sorrow. We have our joys though, but these are so short-lived as if time tends to quicken its steps when we rejoice, and then when we mourn, it comes back to 'slow and steady'. Maybe that is not so, however one can also ask why time's pace appears to be slow, yet it travels even faster than light. Yes, it's worth our thought, even for a while.
